![]() I do know that a few years back the mastering web board held a link to some tests of samplerate conversion and Audition was one of the two top performers. What you describe in the first post, must be a bug. As you mention, the interface isn't as elegant as things like Sadie and Pyramix, however, the spectral editing and file conversion utilities are fantastic and as a program it is a lot cheaper than some of the plug-ins that are often recommended for things like noise removal. I've been using Audition for years as a 'fix it' box of tools. For concerts we use Audient pre's + JoeCo most of the time to avoid laptops misbehaving.Hi Tony. Still prefer SADiE for recording sessions, editing and making up CD masters but if I were starting again now I am not sure which route I would choose. Audition is a very useful application worth taking seriously and it works well alongside Premiere for video editing of music. ![]()
